About Ashley...

Ashley speaks three languages and has lived and worked in Mexico, Guatemala, the United Kingdom, the United States, and Canada. After earning her master's in journalism from City, University of London, she worked as an investigator for abuse and neglect cases in Washington, D.C.'s Family Courts.

To keep up with the fast-changing facets of journalism, Ashley took computer coding -- once her side hobby -- and made it a main journalistic tool for data research and analysis. She uses Python and some SQL, and is a consistent and self-motivated learner.

She now lives in Montreal and takes on freelance journalism and programming projects.
